The International Air Transport Association (IATA) recently granted Laser Airlines the IOSA certification, making it the only Venezuelan airline that currently has these credentials, which places it among a select group of 192 companies in the global aviation sector that meet the highest quality standards in terms of operational control and safety management.
The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Program is an internationally recognized and accepted system designed to evaluate airline operational management and control systems.

After passing an evaluation of more than 1,200 standards issued by the world’s aviation regulatory bodies (ICAO, FAA and JAA), Laser Airlines obtained international validation with 100% compliance.
“We are honored by this achievement, which is the result of teamwork and the combined efforts of our professionals and technicians throughout the organization. Our focus has always been on the permanent improvement of the company’s internal processes, with a view to becoming a reference in quality and service in the national and international aeronautical sector,” said René Cortés, Executive Vice President of Laser Airlines.
“The IOSA certification marks the beginning of a stage that demands a great commitment from us to guarantee the continuity in the excellence of our processes, incorporating an organizational culture that, without a doubt, is here to stay and to set new goals,” added Cortés.
