LATAM launches new route between Bogota and Madrid
LATAM Airlines announced that it will operate a new route connecting Bogotá (Colombia) with Madrid (Spain) starting July 3, 2024.
The route will operate one daily flight on Boeing 787-8 aircraft with a capacity for 247 passengers: 30 in Premium Business and 217 in Economy.
Flights will depart Bogota at 22:50, arriving in Madrid at 15:40 the following day (local time). From the Spanish capital, they will take off at 17:25, landing at El Dorado Airport at 20:40 (local time).

This route will operate under the figure of fifth freedom of the air, which means that it will originate in Santiago de Chile, and then continue its route Bogota-Madrid-Bogota, according to the airline.

In addition to consolidating the Group’s international network, we are strengthening our ability to connect Colombia with one of the strategic markets for the country, such as Europe, with a world-class in-flight product and service,” said Santiago Álvarez, CEO of LATAM Airlines Colombia.
