Porter Airlines inaugurated flights to Fort Lauderdale from Toronto and Ottawa on Thursday, expanding its offerings to Florida from Eastern Canada.
Both routes will operate one daily flight on Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which have a 132-passenger, single-class, 2-2 configuration with no middle seats.

The airline offers free WiFi on this route for all passengers and includes a selection of snacks, beer and wine.For priority check-in, extra legroom seating, premium pre-mixed cocktails and fresh, healthy meals are available with PorterReserve all-inclusive fares or purchased a la carte with PorterClassic fares.
“Florida is a popular destination for Canadians and Fort Lauderdale is the fourth destination in the state that Porter has launched this fall,” said Porter Airlines Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Kevin Jackson.
