On March 31, 2024, avianca will land for the first time at Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Canada, after announcing Wednesday the launch of the new Bogota-Montreal-Bogota route.

The airline will operate four frequencies per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) in A320 aircraft with a capacity of 180 passengers, with a total of 1,200 seats available per week.

Avianca to resume flights between Bogota and Caracas starting in February

Flights will depart Bogota at 14:20, arriving in Montreal at 22:05 (local time). From Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport they will take off at 23:25, landing in the Colombian capital at 04:39 the following day (local time).

“We arrived in Canada a little over two years ago with our operation to Toronto and today we are very happy to announce Avianca’s landing in Montreal at the end of March as a second destination in that country. It is estimated that more than 120,000 Colombians live in Canada today and more than 20,000 Canadian residents visit Colombia each year, so this route will undoubtedly help connect more tourists, more students and more business between the two countries,” said David Aleman, Avianca’s Sales Director for Colombia and South America.
