Cathay Pacific to resume flights between Hong Kong and Barcelona starting in June
Cathay Pacific Airways announced Monday that it will resume nonstop flights between Hong Kong and Barcelona from June 17, following the suspension of this route as a result of the pandemic in 2020.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies (Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays) on Airbus A350 aircraft, and will be added to the three flights per week offered by the airline to Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport.

Thanks to Cathay Pacific’s extensive network from its hub at Hong Kong International Airport, passengers will be able to connect these routes to any other of its many destinations in Asia-Pacific, such as Mainland China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
