The addition of an Airbus A320, a product of the commercial alliance with RED Air, is the first major announcement by Laser Airlines as part of its service strategy and new challenges for the year 2024.
Beginning February 1, passengers traveling on the Caracas-La Romana route and onward connection will fly to and from Venezuela on an Airbus A320, with capacity for 155 passengers.
The configuration of this aircraft offers a 135-seat Economy cabin and a new 20-seat Premium Economy cabin, which offers differentiated and personalized services such as seat selection, in-flight meals and beverages, extra mileage for the Laser Club program, VIP lounges and preferential airport service.

“Our focus is oriented to provide the best travel experience to those who prefer us, offering punctuality with close and human service. To this end, since 2021 we have formed an important alliance with the Dominican airline RED Air to facilitate the transportation of our passengers from the Dominican Republic to their favorite destination. Today, our commercial link is consolidated with this operation in which we are inaugurating a modern and comfortable aircraft, marking the beginning of new challenges in destinations and services for the benefit of our customers and the promotion of the Venezuelan aeronautical sector”, stated René Cortés, Executive Vice President of Laser Airlines.
High demand to Bogotá
As part of its strategies for the current year, the airline also incorporated a new frequency to Bogotá, adding four weekly flights on that route.
This destination recorded a high occupancy rate in December, placing it among the most in-demand destinations on the company’s international itinerary. Nearly 4 thousand passengers chose the Venezuelan airline for their Christmas travel plans on the Caracas-Bogotá-Caracas route.
