SAS to fly between Copenhagen and Atlanta starting in June
As part of its Summer 2024 schedule, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) announced Tuesday that it will operate daily nonstop flights between Atlanta and Copenhagen starting June 17, its ninth North American destination, following New York, Chicago, Boston, Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and Toronto.
SAS is not only introducing a new destination but also increasing frequencies to the US this summer. The Copenhagen-New York (JFK) route will have up to two daily flights, complementing the existing daily flights to New York-Newark Airport from Stockholm, Oslo, and Copenhagen. Copenhagen to Boston flights will operate daily, up from six times a week during summertime. In addition, a fourth weekly flight will be added from Copenhagen to Toronto.

“Through an agreement with Delta Air Lines, passengers can continue their journey on other Delta-served destinations out of Atlanta. This development means an expanded offering for SAS passengers, who can look forward to reaching several new and exciting destinations across the Southern USA, Caribbean, and Latin America, all conveniently accessible from Atlanta,” says SAS President & CEO, Anko van der Werff.
