Iberia Express announced Thursday that it will reinforce its flight offer for Easter, increasing its capacity by nearly 26,500 seats for the period from March 21 to April 1.
The airline has scheduled 150 additional flights, a 13% increase over Easter 2023.
“Easter is one of the periods of the year when most travel is concentrated and we have designed a program of additional flights in the destinations most in demand by our customers: of course in the Canary Islands, which is our main market, but also in the Balearic Islands and international destinations such as Marrakech, Berlin, Copenhagen and Edinburgh, which are very attractive for a getaway at this time,” said Isabel Rodriguez, commercial director of Iberia Express.
The company’s firm commitment to the Canary Islands stands out, where it is adding 96 flights and more than 16,900 seats to its existing operations, which, together with the increases in its base program for the Canary Islands this winter, translates into 25% more seats compared to Easter 2023.

Fuerteventura and Lanzarote also increase their offer with 12 additional flights on each island, while La Palma will have eight new operations.
During this period, nearly 134,000 seats will be offered between Madrid and the archipelago.
As for the Balearic Islands, the schedule increases by 12% to nearly 50,000 seats at Easter, with 18 additional flights concentrated between Mallorca, in addition to six special operations with Menorca, where Iberia Express has brought forward its summer program this year.
The airline’s international routes will also be strengthened with more than 5,000 additional seats, and 10 flights added to the Berlin operation, another 10 to Marrakech, plus six new connections to Naples and two more to both Copenhagen and Edinburgh.
