These were the most on-time airlines in January

Cirium, the specialist firm in aviation sector analysis, published its monthly report on airline punctuality performance for the month of January 2024, where Spain’s Iberia ranked first in the “Global Airlines” category, with 87.29% of its flights on time.

In Latin America, Panama’s Copa Airlines ranked first with 89.39%, followed by Caribbean Airlines with 88.73%, Avianca with 84.01%, LATAM with 81.88% and Aerolíneas Argentinas with 81.65%.

In North America, Delta was the most punctual with 79.97%, second place went to United Airlines with 78.61% and in third place Alaska Airlines with 74.53.

In Europe, Aegean Airlines ranked first with 90.02%, followed by Iberia Express with 89.54% and Vueling Air with 87.36%.

In Asia-Pacific, first place went to Philippine Airlines with 86.85%, second to AirAsia with 83.98% and third to Vietnam Airlines with 83.85%.

In the Middle East and Africa, Safair was first with 94.59%, Oman Air second with 86.78% and Qatar Airways third with 84.92%.
