Frontier Airlines Announces New Routes to Puerto Rico and Los Cabos

Frontier Airlines announced Tuesday that it will launch new nonstop service on several routes beginning in May and June, including a return to Newark, the airline’s first operation from New York-JFK, and the first international route from Phoenix.

The route between Newark and San Juan (Puerto Rico), which will operate 11 weekly frequencies, will begin on June 27, marking the airline’s return to the New Jersey-based airport after two years.

Service between New York-JFK and San Juan (Puerto Rico) will be offered twice daily beginning June 6, and will be Frontier’s first operation from this New York airport.

The new service between Phoenix and Los Cabos (Mexico) will begin on May 16 with two weekly frequencies, and will be the first international route that the airline operates from Arizona’s capital city.

The airline also announced that it will operate four weekly flights between Orange County (Calif.) John Wayne Airport and San Francisco beginning July 11.
