LATAM Airlines announced that it will increase the number of flights at São Paulo’s Congonhas and Guarulhos airports by 5%, from operating 1,712 weekly flights in the first quarter of the year to 1,801 in the second quarter.

The increase of 89 weekly flights in São Paulo starting in April covers 19 destinations, including the new Congonhas-Caxias do Sul route, which will be inaugurated in the same month with five weekly frequencies.

“We connect all of Brazil in São Paulo and the expansion of our flights at Congonhas and Guarulhos further reinforces our commitment to democratizing aviation among Brazilians. We are taking delivery of new aircraft from the factory and investing sustainably because we aim to expand our domestic operations in the country by 7% to 9% this year compared to 2023,” explained Aline Mafra, LATAM Brazil’s Sales and Marketing Director.
