Imagine being able to travel with preferential check-in and boarding rights, VIP lounge access, exclusive service, complimentary cabin upgrades and several other benefits for the rest of your life. This is exactly what LATAM Pass announced last Thursday to the customers who have chosen the airline to fly the most in recent years.

The loyalty program will periodically select the most loyal long-time customers to give them a lifetime category. In this first edition of the benefit, 800 customers of the program in Brazil have been selected and will belong to the LATAM Pass Black (146 customers) and Platinum (654 customers) categories for life. The news was announced at a ceremony in the Salão Nobre of the São Paulo Municipal Theater.

LATAM increases its flights between São Paulo and Madrid

LATAM is the first airline in Brazil to recognize its customers with lifetime categories.

“This is our ‘thank you’ and the greatest recognition we have given to our most loyal customers. In this first year, 800 people will have the privilege of lifetime membership. Our commitment is to continue recognizing those who choose LATAM the most when it comes to flying,” said Martin Holdschmidt, general manager of LATAM Pass.

LATAM Pass lifetime categories are yet another benefit that the airline grants to its most loyal customers. In November 2023, the company launched an unprecedented service for LATAM Pass Black Signature customers to board and disembark at the remote gates of Congonhas (Sao Paulo) with Audi electric vehicles. In December, four new benefits were announced in 2024: double accrual of points on trips to the U.S., extension of the validity of points expiring between July 2023 and March 2024, extension of excess qualifying points from 2023 until March, and the option to redeem a ticket with “points plus money”.
