Avianca inaugurated this Sunday its new route between Bogota and Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, its second destination in Canada.

The airline will operate four frequencies per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) on Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity of 180 passengers, with a total of 1,200 seats available weekly.

Avianca announces start date for flights to Paris

Flights will depart Bogota at 14:20, arriving in Montreal at 22:05 (local time). From Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport they will take off at 23:25, landing in the Colombian capital at 04:39 the following day (local time).

“We arrived in Canada a little over two years ago with our operation to Toronto and today we are very happy to land in Montreal. It is estimated that more than 120,000 Colombians live in Canada today and more than 20,000 Canadian residents visit Colombia each year, so this route will undoubtedly help connect more tourists, more students and more business between the two countries,” said David Alemán, Avianca’s Director of Sales for Colombia and South America.

In this way, Avianca joins Air Canada in offering the route between both cities.
