JetSMART announced Thursday that it will operate two new routes between Argentina and Brazil starting in July.
The airline will start operations between Buenos Aires and Curitiba on July 11. One day later, on July 12, JetSMART will inaugurate flights between Buenos Aires and Porto Alegre.
Both routes will operate three weekly frequencies on Airbus A320 aircraft.

“This is the first time that an ultra low cost airline will operate these routes with direct flights from Argentina, which represents a milestone for Argentina’s airline industry,” the airline said in a statement.
Founded in 2016, JetSMART has domestic operations in Chile, Argentina, Peru and Colombia and covers 80 routes throughout the region with services to Brazil, Ecuador, Paraguay and Uruguay.
