Aerolíneas Argentinas and SKY Airline signed an interline agreement that will allow passengers to travel on a robust network of routes operated by both companies on a single ticket.

Travelers will have access to an offer of 61 domestic destinations in Argentina, Chile and Peru, to which other cities in the Americas will be added at a later date.

Aerolíneas Argentinas will be able to offer its customers flights -in connection with SKY- to more than 26 destinations in Chile and Peru, such as Puerto Montt, Antofagasta Arequipa or Cusco.

SKY will also be able to offer interline connections to different cities in Argentina, connecting its passengers to more than 35 domestic destinations operated by Aerolíneas Argentinas, such as Córdoba, Rosario, Iguazú and Ushuaia.

Another of the benefits of this agreement is that passengers will only need to check in once at the airport of origin, where they will also be able to check their luggage up to their final destination, making their travel experience quick and simple.

“The development of interline agreements is a milestone for SKY and plays a fundamental role in our alliance strategy. This agreement with Aerolíneas Argentinas, in particular, will allow us to provide more travel options to passengers who wish to fly between the three countries, as well as to be an option for travelers from Argentina who want to reach other cities in the continent through our itineraries,” said José Ignacio Dougnac, CEO of SKY.

“This alliance at the regional level will allow us to offer more travel options to our passengers, with a special focus on the Chilean and Peruvian markets, contributing to strengthen business and tourism,” said Fabián Lombardo, CEO of Aerolíneas Argentinas.

The agreement will be implemented gradually during the second half of this year, and both airlines will publish the destinations that will be offered in connection through their own sales channels, with marketing expected to begin during the third quarter of 2024.
