Brazilian airline Azul received a new themed aircraft inspired by Disney’s beloved character, Goofy. This addition joins Azul’s “World’s Most Magical Fleet”, which already has Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy airplanes.
The A320neo, registration PR-YSR, arrived at Belo Horizonte airport last Saturday, after undergoing a meticulous painting and customization process at the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France.
With his debut in 1932, Goofy quickly won hearts with his unique charm and endearing antics, later becoming the first classic Disney character to star in his own feature film, “A Goofy Movie,” in 1995.

With a design created for Azul by Walt Disney World Resort artists, the Goofy-inspired plane exudes fun and personality. It also incorporates iconic elements of the character, such as his trademark ears.
The aircraft is scheduled to begin operations in Brazil this fall.
“The ‘World’s Most Magical Fleet’ aircraft are very special to us at Azul because of the way they enchant and impact the customer experience. You can see the joy and sparkle in the eyes of adults and children when they discover they are traveling on one of them. Goofy is a classic, he represents fun and good humor, and we believe the new aircraft has captured this essence,” said Daniel Bicudo, Azul’s Marketing and Business Director.
“We are very proud to see the Goofy-inspired aircraft join the ‘World’s Most Magical Fleet’ and land on Brazilian soil,” said Cinthia Douglas, Director of Marketing and Sales for Disney Destinations.
