During the days of May 28 and 29, LATAM Airlines Group was distinguished by two important international industry entities, specifically for its in-flight service and passenger travel experience.
At the Onboard Hospitality Awards 2024, the airline was awarded “Best Onboard Sustainability” -which it won for the second consecutive year- for the implementation of the “Recycle Your Trip” program in the Brazilian domestic market; it also received the “Highly Commended” mention for the “Best In-flight Entertainment” and “Catering Innovation of the Year” categories. At the Pax International Awards, it won the Outstanding Food Service by a Carrier for South America 2024 award for the fifth year in a row.

“These awards are an important recognition to our team for all they do for our customers, and for the work we are developing at LATAM with our continuous commitment to improve the experience. We would also like to express our most sincere thanks to our customers for their trust and preference,” said Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customers at LATAM Airlines Group.
In the case of the awards from the English magazine Onboard Hospitality, these were given basically for three initiatives: the airline’s commitment to the implementation of the “Recycle Your Trip” program in the Brazilian domestic market; the “Flavors that Transport” program, which seeks to highlight the food and local pride of South American chefs; and for the technologies implemented to enhance the passenger travel experience, which includes an extensive network of exclusive content, with more than 180 movies, 580 episodes of television programs, 150 music albums and exclusive content from HBO Max, Paramount+ and Disney+, the largest in South America.
In addition, the Outstanding Food Service by a Carrier for South America 2024 award from PAX International magazine was for the Sabores que Transportan program, in which the wine list in premium cabins selected by the only master sommelier in Latin America, Héctor Vergara, played an important role, as well as for the delivery of local brand products on domestic flights.
