LEVEL, an IAG Group airline, celebrates this coming Saturday, June 1, its seventh anniversary since it began connecting Barcelona with America. In these seven years, the company has transported a total of 2.5 million people, has operated more than 8,600 flights and has traveled nearly 80 million kilometers.
Of the total number of passengers transported, 1.2 million have flown through Barcelona-El Prat airport, its base of operations, 700,000 through the United States and 600,000 through South America and the Caribbean, including flights to Cancun and Punta Cana that were operated on time during the pandemic.

During these seven years, the airline has consolidated its long-haul model from Barcelona, with a map of strategic destinations for Barcelona and a differential in-flight experience proposal that demonstrates the airline’s constant commitment to innovation in all its processes. LEVEL currently has seven destinations (Miami, New York, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile) and six aircraft, a fleet that will be increased to eight units in 2026.
To celebrate this anniversary with its customers, the airline will launch several promotions and surprises next week, which will be revealed through its channels.
“Throughout these seven years, LEVEL has consolidated its positioning in Barcelona, its base of operations, and has contributed significantly to the strengthening of the intercontinental hub at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport with a clear value proposition and with the same commitment from day one, which is to connect Barcelona with the world,” said Fernando Candela, CEO of LEVEL.
