Air China will resume non-stop flights between Shanghai-Pudong and Barcelona (Spain) from August 27, 2024, after being suspended 4 years ago due to the pandemic.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies on Airbus A350-900XWB aircraft with capacity for 312 passengers: 32 in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy Class and 256 in Economy Class.

“With the return of this route, Air China completes in 2024 its recovery in Barcelona and even with an increase in the capacity of the Beijing route,” the airline said through a statement.
Currently, El Prat Airport has non-stop flights to Beijing operated by Air China, to Shenzhen operated by Shenzhen Airlines and to Hong Kong operated by Cathay Pacific.
