“The start of this international operation in Ceará contributes strongly to tourism, the economy and logistics competitiveness not only of Ceará, but of the entire Brazilian Northeast. In total, we have consolidated 5 weekly international takeoffs in Fortaleza, 3 weekly to Florida and two to Buenos Aires, Argentina,” said Bruno Balan, GOL’s Airline Network Planning Manager.
Additional flight Fortaleza-Miami
On June 21, the airline started a new weekly frequency between Fortaleza and Miami, going from one weekly flight to two.
Miami is the main hub in the U.S. for flights from Latin America. From this point, GOL flights will facilitate access to the state of Ceará for North American travelers coming from different destinations, such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Boston, Washington, Las Vegas, Houston, Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Denver, Detroit, Newark, Philadelphia, among others, thanks to flights operated by American Airlines, a company with which GOL has a partnership.
