Iberia Express was the world's most punctual low-cost in May

Iberia Express was the most punctual low-cost airline in the world in May, according to data from Cirium, a global consulting firm specializing in aviation analysis.

In the fifth month of the year, the airline operated a total of 3,835 flights – 11% more than in May 2023 – with an on-time performance of 90.24%.

The list is completed by Brazil’s GOL with 89.82%, Norwegian with 89.53%, Peach Aviation with 87.12%, Azul with 84.79%, Vueling with 83.73%, Thai AirAsia with 83.55% and Sky Airline with 83.01%.

“It is very gratifying for the entire team to improve month after month, and to be able to offer our customers the highest punctuality rates. To once again occupy first place in the world in the low-cost ranking is a source of great pride, the result of the effort and perseverance of all of us at Iberia Express,” said Fernando Ortiz, the company’s Production Director.
