In order to improve the travel experience for passengers and strengthen the connection between Chile and the United States during the high season, LATAM Airlines announced that it will increase frequencies on its current routes to Los Angeles and Miami from Santiago.

The airline also announced that it will extend the duration of the Santiago – Orlando seasonal route for the months of December 2024 to March 2025.

These frequency increases are part of the Joint Venture between LATAM and Delta Air Lines, which in just over a year has allowed them to increase their capacity by 75% and facilitate access to more than 300 destinations between countries including South America and North America (United States and Canada).

As of October 27, flights from Santiago de Chile to Los Angeles (United States) will increase their weekly frequencies from 6 to 7, while departures from Miami to Santiago will increase their frequencies from 12 to 13 in November, reaching 14 frequencies as of December.

In addition, Delta Air Lines announced a second frequency for its Santiago – Atlanta route, which will be in effect for the high demand season, between December 13, 2024 and January 13, 2025.

“We are very pleased to be able to announce this increase in frequencies to key U.S. cities during the summer season. The addition of new weekly flights reinforces the purpose of our agreement with Delta, which allows us to provide a better connection between the countries it includes in South and North America, allowing us to connect thousands of passengers to some of the most important vacation destinations in the United States,” says Kamal Hadad, LATAM’s Group Network Director.

Starting in October, Latam Airlines Brazil’s operations will also be reinforced. Flights from Sao Paulo to Los Angeles will increase their frequency from 3 to 4 times a week; while from Sao Paulo to Orlando 3 new departures will be added, bringing the total to 7 flights a week.
