Cirium, the specialist firm in aviation sector analysis, published its monthly report on airline punctuality performance for the month of May 2024, where Aeromexico ranked, for the second consecutive month, in first place in the “Global Airlines” category, with 86.75% of its flights on time.
In Latin America, Panama’s Copa Airlines remained in first place with 90.24%, followed by Brazil’s GOL with 89.82%, Aerolíneas Argentinas with 89.22%, Caribbean Airlines with 87.96% and Aeroméxico with 86.75%.
In North America, Delta Air Lines repeated as the most punctual with 81.04%, second place went to Alaska Airlines with 79.04% and in third place WestJet with 77.55%.

In Europe, Norwegian ranked first with 89.53%, followed by Iberia with 86.17% and SAS with 84.83%.
In Asia-Pacific, first place again went to Japan Airlines with 86.40%, second to Vietnam Airlines with 85.11% and third to Japan’s ANA with 84.89%.
In the Middle East and Africa, Safair was first with 96.81%, Oman Air second with 94.35% and Airlink third with 92.90%.
