Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas announced Wednesday that it will add another five Airbus A330 aircraft to its fleet over the next 18 months, with the goal of expanding its routes to Latin America by 2025.
These aircraft will join the five A330s and one A340 currently operated by the airline, which plans to dispose of the four-engine aircraft in March 2025 to unify its fleet, the company explained in a statement.

In addition to expanding the range of destinations, the addition of these aircraft will enable Plus Ultra to reduce carbon emissions per flight by 13%, in line with the airline’s commitment to sustainable growth, said its president, Julio Martínez Sola.
The Spanish airline currently operates flights from Madrid to Bogotá, Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), Caracas, Lima and Malabo (Equatorial Guinea), as well as between Tenerife and Caracas.
