TAP Air Portugal to resume flights to Manaus, Brazil

TAP Air Portugal announced Wednesday that it will resume flights between Lisbon and Manaus, capital of the state of Amazonas, starting November 4, 2024, after 8 years.

The route will operate three weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) with a stopover in Belém, with promotional round-trip fares starting at 599 euros.

With the return of this service, the company will offer 15 routes to Brazil (13 from Lisbon and two from Porto).

“Brazil is strategic for TAP and the return of our flight to Manaus is another sign that we will continue to invest in the development of our operations in that country. We recently launched a new route to Florianópolis and will end this year with at least 15 routes to Brazil, record numbers for the company in the sister country,” said Luís Rodrigues, CEO of TAP.

During this European summer, despite the temporary suspension of flights to Porto Alegre, TAP offers 95 weekly flights to Brazil, an average of 13 daily flights, departing from 13 Brazilian state capitals.
