Volotea inaugurates new route between Castellón and Bilbao
Volotea inaugurated this Saturday its new direct connection between the airport of Castellón and Bilbao.
For this route, the airline offers 14,400 seats on 80 flights, with two weekly frequencies, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This is a summer route that will be available until October 2024.

Since the start of its operations in Castellón in 2020, Volotea has continuously strengthened its commitment to the region’s connectivity. This year it is offering 30% more seats compared to 2022 and 97% more compared to 2020.
“Our commitment to Castellón is firm and has been demonstrated over the last few years. We started with an initial offer of 7,000 seats and 58 flights in 2020, which we have been increasing to carry more than 23,000 passengers and offer 80 flights in three years. We are excited to reconnect this Mediterranean region with a destination like Bilbao,” said Gabriel Schmilovich, Volotea’s Chief Strategy Officer.
