Dominican Arajet reached a new all-time record by transporting more than half a million passengers in the first six months of the year, the airline said in a press release.
According to data published by the Dominican Republic’s Civil Aviation Board (JAC), Arajet mobilized some 399 thousand passengers from January to June, which added to the more than 120 thousand passengers in connections reported by the airline, totals some 520 thousand passengers in the first half of the year.

Arajet indicated that with these numbers it plans to close 2024 transporting around 1,100,000 passengers, expanding with new routes and starting operations at Punta Cana Airport on November 1st of this year, to increase the network of destinations and connections in the continent.
Arajet currently operates to 23 destinations in the Americas and has a fleet of 10 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
