Avianca announces new direct route between San Jose and Panama City

To strengthen connectivity between Central American countries, Avianca announced the launch of a new route that will connect San José, Costa Rica with Panama City starting October 27, 2024.

The route will operate one daily flight on Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for 180 passengers. This will provide travelers with more than 2,000 seats per week to fly between the two destinations.

This new route will facilitate the transit of our passengers, significantly reducing travel times and eliminating unnecessary stopovers. With this new direct route to Panama City, Avianca will strengthen Costa Rica’s connectivity in Central America.
