LATAM Airlines was Brazil’s leading airline in the first half of 2024, according to consolidated ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency) data released on Monday, July 22.
In total, the airline had a share of almost 40% (RPK) of the Brazilian domestic market in the first six months of the year. In international operations, LATAM also leads with 23.6% of the total share (RPK) of flights linking Brazil with other countries.

The June numbers released by LATAM itself had already indicated that the accumulated volume in the semester for the Brazilian operation grew by 5.6% compared to the same month of 2023. According to ANAC, the company’s share (RPK) in the Brazilian domestic market was 37.27% in June.
“The first half results reinforce LATAM’s promising year in Brazil, with significant growth in demand and supply. We remain committed to expanding Brazil’s air capacity and facilitating access to aviation throughout the country,” said Aline Mafra, LATAM Brazil Sales and Marketing Director.
