Tocumen International Airport, which serves Panama City, processed 1,624,774 passengers during the month of June of this year, 183,408 more than the same month last year.
So far this year, 9,382,002 passengers have been mobilized.
According to data provided by the Statistics Department of Tocumen International Airport, the markets with the greatest regional movement in June were: South America, with 45%, followed by North America with 29% and the Caribbean with 12%. Central America contributed 10% and European markets contributed 4%.
Thirty-one airlines operate at Tocumen International Airport: 15 cargo and 16 passenger airlines.
Destinations and markets
In terms of international connections, in June Tocumen maintained direct routes to 90 destinations.

The results for the sixth month of the year indicate that of the total number of passengers using the Tocumen terminal, 72% were connecting passengers. In addition, 12,768 aircraft movements were handled.
Regional terminals and cargo
As for the cargo terminal, 17,731 metric tons of merchandise were mobilized in June 2024.
The Panama Pacifico, Enrique Malek, Scarlett Martinez and Enrique A. Jimenez regional terminals, managed by Tocumen, S.A., registered 56,214 passengers and 1,580 aircraft operations in June.
Among the regional terminals, Panama Pacifico recorded the highest movement with 34,008 passengers processed. The domestic terminal operating at Terminal 2 processed 16,366 passengers.
