Avianca announced Tuesday the launch of a new non-stop route between Medellin (Colombia) and Guayaquil (Ecuador), which will begin operating on December 16, 2024.
The route will have three weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) operated by Airbus A320 aircraft, which have a capacity of 180 passengers, offering a total of 1,080 seats per week.

“This new connection with Guayaquil reaffirms the airline’s commitment to the people of Antioquia and to regional development″, commented David Alemán, Avianca’s Sales Director for Colombia and South America.
With this new addition, Avianca expands its direct route network from Medellín to 27 domestic and international connections.
