Avianca announced Tuesday that it will operate a new route between Bogota (Colombia) and Tulum (Mexico) starting December 10, 2024.
The new route will operate three weekly frequencies (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) on Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for 180 passengers, offering more than 1,000 seats per week between the two destinations.
The flight will depart Bogota at 12:30, landing in Tulum at 16:00. From Felipe Carrillo Puerto Airport it will take off at 17:05, arriving in the Colombian capital at 20:25.
“2024 has been historic for our Bogotá route network with the return of iconic destinations such as Caracas, Paris, Montreal, Chicago and Aeroparque (Buenos Aires) and soon also Tulum. Through our route network, one of the most robust in Latin America and with Bogota as the hub of the region, we will now be able to connect millions of travelers from more than 25 countries to the paradise of the Riviera Maya, thus offering new connectivity options and more access to new destinations,” said David Aleman, Avianca’s director of sales for Colombia and South America.
With the addition of Tulum, Avianca strengthens its presence in Mexico, reaching a total of nine routes and 87 weekly frequencies.
