Wingo inaugurated this Monday its new route Medellín – Barranquilla – Medellín, the airline’s tenth route from José María Córdova Airport, after Cancun, Aruba, Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, Caracas, Bogotá, Cartagena, Santa Marta and Panama City.
The new route will have four flights a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. In total, the airline will make available to travelers nearly 6,000 seats per month between the two routes.

“At Wingo we are very pleased to join two domestic markets that are strategic for us: Medellin and Barranquilla. With this new route we are expanding travel options between the capitals of Antioquia and Atlántico, thus promoting more tourism, more business and more family travel between these two urban centers,” said Jorge Jiménez, Wingo’s VP of Commercial and Planning.
Tickets are already on sale on the airline’s website, with promotional launch fares starting at COP 99,000 each way, which includes a personal item.
