Dominican Arajet announced Tuesday that it has become the newest member airline of the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA).
One of Arajet’s main value propositions is the “democratization of the skies,” which it promotes by offering affordable fares and opening new routes connecting the Americas. In addition to its focus on accessibility, the airline also stands out for its commitment to operational efficiency and sustainability. Its entire fleet is made up of state-of-the-art Boeing aircraft, which has enabled the company to reduce fuel consumption by 14% and reduce environmental noise by 50% compared to other single-aisle aircraft.

“Belonging to ALTA means joining the largest aviation network in our continent, which fills us with pride and opens up a range of synergy opportunities with the industry to continue growing and providing the best world-class service to all our passengers,” said Victor Pacheco, CEO and founder of Arajet.
By joining ALTA, Arajet reinforces its commitment to continue expanding its network of destinations and its fleet, working together with the other members of the association to contribute to the sustainable growth of the airline industry in the region.
