The Panamanian airline Copa Airlines held the fifth annual edition of its Hackathon, which this year had the theme “Challenge: Linux”, with the aim of promoting education and technological innovation through the resolution of challenges. The 460 participants, technology and computer science students from the country’s main universities, tested their knowledge and skills in the use of Linux, cloud services, artificial intelligence (AI) and other advanced tools.
“At Copa Airlines, we believe in the power of technology as a driver of development. This hackathon drives innovation, while providing a platform for young Panamanians to strengthen their technical skills and prepare for the future.
