The Spanish Iberia launches this Monday a campaign with special prices for winter travel to the new destinations that the airline is launching this season: Innsbruck and Salzburg in Austria, Tromso in Norway and Rovaniemi in Lapland. These destinations invite travelers to enjoy the snow, explore Christmas markets, admire the northern lights or even visit Santa Claus’ house.
For lovers of skiing and winter sports activities, Iberia is offering direct flights to Innsbruck from Madrid from December 1 to March 26, twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. Tickets are available from 79 euros one way.
Another Austrian city that offers the possibility of enjoying the snow, but also the traditional Christmas markets, is Salzburg. Direct flights from Madrid start on November 30, with two weekly frequencies, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, which will continue until March 29. Tickets are also available from 79 euros one way.

This winter, Iberia also launches a new route to Tromso in Norway. This Scandinavian city offers a variety of plans such as enjoying the northern lights, visiting the Norwegian fjords or sledding. The route will be available from December 1, operating on Thursdays and Sundays, until March 2. Tickets are available from 139 euros one way.
Another of the most popular destinations is Rovaniemi, capital of Lapland and hometown -and official- of Santa Claus. The airline repeats this year, after the success of 2023, and has scheduled flights from November 30 to March 1, with up to 4 frequencies per week during the month of December, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. These flights are available from 139 euros one way.
Destinations for all tastes
In addition to these winter destinations, the campaign includes a selection of 39 cities to suit all tastes. Travelers looking for cultural experiences can choose from European cities such as Paris, Lisbon and Milan, or U.S. cities such as New York and Washington. For those who prefer sun and beaches, Iberia offers flights to destinations such as Costa Rica, Havana and Rio de Janeiro, as well as domestic options such as Las Palmas, Tenerife and Lanzarote.
The campaign also includes the recently inaugurated route to Tokyo, which directly connects Spain and Japan three times a week.
