Porter Airlines inaugurated its new seasonal route between Montreal-Trudeau and Fort Myers on Friday. The airline is the only operator to offer non-stop service between the two airports, providing travellers with a seamless connection to Southwest Florida.

The route will operate four flights per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) on Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which have a capacity for 132 passengers in a single class and 2-2 configuration, with no intermediate seats. The airline will offer free WiFi on these flights for all passengers and includes a selection of snacks, beer and wine.
“We’re excited to bring non-stop service between Montréal and Fort Myers, making it easier for travellers to connect with Southwest Florida’s beautiful beaches and vibrant attractions”, Edmond Eldebs, senior vice president and chief commercial officer, Porter Airlines said.
