Virgin Atlantic announced Friday that it will return to Mexico in 2025, with non-stop flights between London-Heathrow and Cancun starting October 19.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies on Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, which have 16 seats in Upper Class, 56 in Premium and 325 in Economy Delight, Classic and Light.

“We are delighted to return to Cancun and offer our customers a new destination to enjoy the winter sun,” said Juha Jarvinen, Virgin Atlantic’s Chief Commercial Officer.
The route will be the only direct service between London Heathrow and Cancun, with direct connections with SkyTeam partner Aeromexico and codeshare partner LATAM to destinations such as Mexico City, Santiago, Buenos Aires and Lima.
