Canadian airline WestJet announced Tuesday that it will operate a new route connecting Vancouver to Austin, Texas, beginning May 11, 2025.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies on Boeing 737-800 and 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

Flights will take off from Vancouver at 18:00, arriving in Austin at 00:17 (local time). From Texas they will take off at 08:00, landing in Canada’s third largest city at 10:38 (local time).
“As we continue to strengthen our service across Western Canada, we are proud to add new WestJet service between Vancouver and Austin as part of our expanded summer schedule,” said Daniel Fajardo, WestJet Vice-President of Network and Schedule Planning.
