Arajet transports its highest number of passengers ever in November

Dominican Arajet reported this Monday that during the month of November it transported 96,586 passengers, making it the busiest month of 2024 for the airline, moving 7% of travelers entering or leaving the country.

The company also managed to exceed one million passengers in 2024, making it the first Dominican airline to carry this number of passengers in a single year.

These figures are part of the report of the Civil Aviation Board (JAC), which projects Arajet as the most active Dominican airline with a remarkable growth since the beginning of its operations at Punta Cana Airport and expect it to increase in the month of December.

The busiest routes in Punta Cana were Buenos Aires and São Paulo, while in Santo Domingo it was Bogota and Medellin.

Victor Pacheco Méndez, CEO & Founder of Arajet, expressed his gratitude to the passengers who have preferred the airline as their best option for their tourism or business trips and have made it the fourth busiest airline in the Dominican Republic.

“Arajet will continue to offer the lowest fares in the market and a quality service with the highest standards in order to position the country as an air hub in the region and strengthen the local tourism industry,” said Pacheco.

The airline indicated that it expects to end 2024 carrying approximately 1.2 million passengers to consolidate its exponential growth from Canada to the southern cone with the new routes it is operating from Punta Cana Airport.
