TAP Air announced Tuesday that it will offer two new routes between Portugal and the United States: Lisbon-Los Angeles and Porto-Boston.
The route between Lisbon and Los Angeles will begin on May 16 and will initially operate three weekly frequencies (Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays) on Airbus A330-900 aircraft. From May 27, a fourth weekly frequency (Saturdays) will be added until October 25. Fares are available from 679 euros (round trip).
Flights between Porto and Boston will be inaugurated on May 14 and will be available four times weekly (Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays) until October 25, 2025. The route will be operated on Airbus A321LR aircraft, with fares starting at €529 (round trip).

As of June 3, 2025, one of TAP’s weekly flights between Lisbon and San Francisco (on Tuesdays) will call at Terceira Island, allowing the company to offer a new direct flight between the Azores and California.
TAP currently flies from Lisbon to seven U.S. airports: New York, Newark, Boston, Miami, Washington DC, San Francisco and Chicago, and from Porto to Newark.
