Mexican airline Viva strengthens domestic and international air connectivity in Guadalajara by launching 8 new routes from the capital of Jalisco. These services will serve to strengthen the company’s presence in both Mexico and the United States.
The 4 new international routes will connect Guadalajara with Oakland, Dallas, Las Vegas and San Antonio, while the 4 domestic routes will allow Guadalajara residents to fly directly to Mexicali, Ciudad Obregón, Puerto Escondido and Torreón.
With these new services, Viva now offers 30 direct destinations from Guadalajara, a growth of 35%.

“We are very happy to launch these eight routes from Guadalajara, one of our most important operating bases,” said Javier Suarez, Viva’s Executive Vice President of Planning and Alliances.
Viva recalled that it recently celebrated its 18th anniversary by launching its new focus on Flex- YES-bility, with which it adds 11 superpowers to its ticket that make it the most powerful in the Mexican airline industry. With this, the company becomes the YES airline, saying YES to passengers who want to change or correct the name on their ticket, change the route, day or time of their flight, transfer their ticket to someone else, buy tickets on full flights and much more.
