Edelweiss has announced a significant expansion of its flight network for spring 2025. This update includes new direct connections to popular destinations, an extended winter season in Lapland, and increased passenger capacity thanks to the deployment of the Airbus A340 on selected routes.
Extended Winter Season in Lapland
For winter sports enthusiasts and adventure seekers, Edelweiss will extend its flight season to the captivating Lapland region, with additional options available in March and April. Notable destinations include::
- Rovaniemi: Additional flights on March 31, and April 3 and 7.
- Kittilä: New flights scheduled for March 31 and April 7.
- Ivalo: Extra flights added on March 28 and April 4 and 11.

These connections provide travelers with more opportunities to explore the magic of northern Europe right up to Easter.
New Direct Connections to Italy, Morocco, and Greece
Starting in April, Edelweiss will replace previous triangular connections with direct flights, reducing travel times and increasing passenger comfort. Destinations include:
- Italy: Direct flights to Catania (Sicily) and Lamezia (Calabria) on Mondays and Thursdays.
- Morocco: New direct connections to Marrakesh and Agadir on Wednesdays.
- Greece: Expanded direct flights to Kos and Rhodes on Thursdays.
Increased Capacity with the Airbus A340
To meet growing demand, Edelweiss will deploy the Airbus A340 on selected short-haul routes in March and April, significantly increasing passenger capacity.
Destinations served by aircraft:
- Gran Canaria: Flights operated with the Airbus A340 on Thursdays from April 3 to May 1.
- Faro (Portugal): New flights on March 20 and 27.
- Hurghada (Egypt): Additional flights on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
- Larnaca (Cyprus): Extra night flights on Thursdays in April and May.
- Sal (Cape Verde): Flights available on April 1, 2, and 8.
All flights are now available for booking through the airline’s official website and via standard sales channels.
