The president of the Córdoba Tourism Agency, Darío Capitani, highlighted the importance of this air connection, emphasizing that “this route reinforces Córdoba’s position as a key air hub in Argentina and strengthens our ties with Brazil, one of our priority markets.”
The new route adds to the flights already operated by GOL at Recife International Airport, which include direct flights to Buenos Aires (Aeroparque Jorge Newbery).
Expansion and Consolidation of GOL in Argentina
With this new connection, GOL strengthens its presence in the Argentine market. Currently, the airline operates direct flights to Córdoba from Rio de Janeiro/Galeão and Florianópolis. Additionally, starting April 2, 2025, the airline will add three weekly frequencies on the Córdoba-São Paulo/Guarulhos route.
The new weekly flight to Recife reinforces a strategic corridor for tourism between central Argentina and northeastern Brazil, facilitating access to one of the most attractive regions in the South American country.
