Avianca Expands Connectivity: New Direct Route Between Bogota and Cordoba

Avianca reinforces its commitment to connectivity in Latin America with the launch of its new direct route between Bogota and Cordoba, Argentina. Starting June 16, 2025, the airline will operate three weekly flights using Airbus A320 aircraft, offering a capacity of 180 passengers per flight.

With this new route, travelers will be able to connect directly to Bogota and, from there, access a wide network of international destinations.

Growth and Expansion of Avianca in Argentina

“Argentina is a key market for Avianca, and we are firmly committed to providing Argentinians with greater connectivity. In 2024 alone, we transported more than 460,000 travelers to and from Argentina, representing a 20% growth compared to the previous year,” stated Gabriel Oliva, Chief Operating Officer of Avianca and CEO of Avianca Cargo.

The new route will allow Argentine travelers to access over 80 destinations through the Bogotá hub, including cities in North America, South America, and the Caribbean.

With the addition of this service, Avianca will offer 38 weekly frequencies between Argentina and other cities, covering the following routes:

  • Bogotá — Aeroparque
  • Bogotá — Ezeiza
  • Medellín — Ezeiza
  • Quito — Ezeiza
  • Guayaquil — Ezeiza
  • Bogotá — Córdoba
  • Guayaquil — Córdoba via Bogotá

Additionally, passengers will be able to connect to key destinations such as Guayaquil, Quito, Cancún, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, New York, Aruba, and Punta Cana.

Tickets for the new route are already available through Avianca’s official channels: its website, mobile app, and travel agencies.
