Emirates announced this Monday the expansion of its global network with the addition of three new destinations: Shenzhen in China, Da Nang in Vietnam, and Siem Reap in Cambodia. These new flights will enhance connectivity between Dubai and Southeast Asia, solidifying the Emirati airline as the non-Asian carrier with the most extensive route network in the region.
With these new routes, Emirates will operate a total of 269 weekly flights from Dubai to 24 destinations in East Asia, strengthening its position in key markets. Shenzhen will become the fourth gateway to China, while Da Nang and Siem Reap will become the airline’s third and second destinations in Vietnam and Cambodia, respectively.
Shenzhen: A New Link to China’s Tech Hub
Starting July 1, 2025, Emirates will operate daily non-stop flights between Dubai and Shenzhen. This new connection will strengthen commercial and economic ties between China and global markets, particularly in the technology and innovation sectors.

Shenzhen will also be the first destination in China to feature Emirates’ upgraded Boeing 777-300ER, offering 8 private suites in First Class, 40 fully reclining seats in Business Class, 24 seats in Premium Economy, and 260 seats in Economy Class.
In terms of cargo transport, Emirates SkyCargo will move up to 10 tons of cargo per flight, facilitating the export of technology and e-commerce products from Shenzhen, a key manufacturing hub within China’s Special Economic Zone.
Expansion in Vietnam and Cambodia: New Options for Travelers
Da Nang: The Third Destination in Vietnam
Emirates will begin operating four weekly flights to Da Nang starting June 2, 2025. These routes will connect through Bangkok, optimizing accessibility to Europe and the United States.
The flights will operate with the Boeing 777-300ER in a two-class configuration, with 35 seats in Business Class and 386 seats in Economy Class.
Siem Reap: Gateway to the City of Temples
Starting June 3, 2025, the airline will operate three weekly flights to Siem Reap, also with a stopover in Bangkok. This new route will be designed to connect travelers from Europe and Russia with one of Asia’s most iconic tourist destinations.
As with the route to Da Nang, these flights will be operated with the Boeing 777-300ER in a two-class configuration.
With this expansion, Emirates reinforces its commitment to offering the best global connectivity, strengthening commercial and tourism ties between Dubai and Asia.
