LATAM Airlines Group continues to solidify its leadership in Latin America’s commercial aviation sector. In February 2025, the airline transported more than 6.5 million passengers across its extensive network of 151 destinations in 27 countries. This represents a 1.8% increase compared to the same month last year, reflecting the positive impact of the high season in South America.
Growth in Capacity and Passenger Traffic
LATAM increased its consolidated capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASK), by 4.4% compared to February 2024. This growth is primarily due to a 9.1% increase in international supply, reinforcing the airline’s expansion on high-demand routes. Additionally, consolidated traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometers (RPK), rose by 3.1%, resulting in a load factor of 83.3%.

Cargo Transportation Expansion
In the cargo segment, LATAM also demonstrated strong performance. Cargo capacity, measured in available ton kilometers (ATK), grew by 3.3% compared to February 2024, reaching 638 million available ton kilometers. This growth reaffirms the importance of cargo transport within the group’s strategy.
Operations by Segment
LATAM’s performance is divided into two segments:
- Domestic: Includes LATAM Airlines in Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
- International: Comprises international flights operated by LATAM Airlines in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Paraguay.
With these results, LATAM reinforces its position as the leading airline group in the region, with a strategy of sustained growth in both passenger and cargo operations.
