This Tuesday, April 8, Air France operated its first aircraft equipped with the new La Première suite on the route between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and New York-JFK, marking the debut of a product that raises the standard of luxury air travel.
Boeing 777-300ER Named “Épernay”
The aircraft featured on this inaugural route is a Boeing 777-300ER named after the French city of Épernay. This plane represents the latest in comfort across all classes. The cabin configuration includes:
- 4 fully redesigned La Première suites
- 60 Business class seats
- 44 Premium Economy seats
- 204 state-of-the-art Economy class seats
In the coming weeks, Air France will add a second daily frequency on this route, using another Boeing 777-300ER with the same new cabin features.

La Première: Privacy, Technology, and Unmatched Comfort
The revamped La Première experience offers an individual suite with five windows and a unique design that blends luxury, functionality, and privacy. Each module is fully customizable and features:
- An ergonomic seat with adjustable comfort foam
- A chaise longue that transforms into a two-meter-long bed
- Floor-to-ceiling opaque curtains for an intimate atmosphere
Passengers can enjoy two 32-inch 4K anti-glare screens, over 1,500 hours of entertainment, noise-canceling headphones, and the option to connect their own devices via Bluetooth.
Additionally, each suite includes 110V/220V power outlets, USB-A and USB-C ports, wireless charging, a holder for mobile devices or tablets, and a wireless touchscreen control to manage lighting, seat position, and window shades.
A Seamless Experience from Lounge to Landing
The luxury begins on the ground with access to exclusive lounges and continues onboard with menus crafted by Michelin-starred chefs, a selection of fine wines and champagnes, and an environment designed for relaxation. Every detail is tailored to ensure an uninterrupted journey with the utmost comfort.
Global Expansion in 2025 and 2026
The new La Première cabin will be progressively rolled out on other Boeing 777-300ERs operating routes to Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo-Haneda during the summer of 2025. Starting in 2026, it will be available on all routes offering this class and on additional aircraft.
With this move, Air France reinforces its presence in the premium travel segment, combining cutting-edge technology, elegant design, and French hospitality in every aspect of the journey.
