Avianca Launches Four New International Routes

Avianca continues to expand its network with the inauguration of four new international routes: Tampa-Bogotá, Fort Lauderdale-Medellín, Miami-San José (Costa Rica), and San Juan (Puerto Rico)-San José.

Details of the New Routes

The routes are operated using Airbus A320 aircraft, with a capacity for 180 passengers. Collectively, these new connections offer over 7,500 weekly seats, distributed as follows:

Frederico Pedreira, CEO of Avianca, highlighted the airline’s expansion: “Over the past year, we transported more than 38 million passengers and solidified the largest route network in our history.
