Cathay Pacific has taken a key step in its global expansion plan with the launch of passenger flights between Hong Kong and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) this Thursday. This new route marks the sixth destination added by the Cathay Group this year, as part of an ambitious strategy to introduce 15 new routes throughout 2025.
The Dallas connection not only strengthens Cathay Pacific’s presence in North America but also reinforces Hong Kong’s position as a strategic global hub. The airline underscores its commitment to offering passengers more options and convenience, expanding its network to over 100 destinations in the first half of the year.
Lavinia Lau, Chief Customer and Commercial Officer at Cathay, emphasized: “The launch of our direct passenger flights between Hong Kong and Dallas for the first time demonstrates our commitment to providing customers with convenient access to the world’s most exciting destinations from our Hong Kong hub.”
